Wood-Framed Town Mission Complete (木組みの街攻略完了?) is the sixth episode of Is the Order a Rabbit?? anime series.

Synopsis[]

Sisterly feelings plague the group; Cocoa competitively pushes Mocha away and Chiya feels left out because Mocha doesn't treat her like the others. Mocha worriedly tries to fix everything before her visit ends.

Summary[]

Mocha recalls her memories from childhood when she and Cocoa were little. They would observe flowers and wear matching ones as ornaments, fish while discussing prime numbers and bake. Her being the eldest caused her to dote on her other siblings, and Cocoa admired her, which is why she wants to act like a big sister too. They always stood together, hand in hand.

Mocha is baking with Chino as she recalls this, and Cocoa sadly arrives under the belief Mocha is stealing everyone away from her. Seeing how gloomy she is, Mocha tries teasing Cocoa to snap her out of it, but Cocoa issues a bread making challenge. Mocha sees no harm in it and agrees, and they have Chino act as judge.

In the end a lot of bread was made, so they decided to have a picnic and invite the others to join them. Cocoa suggests a bread eating contest for fun but Rize doesn't believe competition suits the mood. Mocha goes on to reveal she laced a scone with mustard -which was eaten by Tippy- and Chiya reveals that she made some Russian Roulette botamochi. Mocha and Chiya bond over their little pranks as Rize converses with Sharo, who tries very hard not to over-eat out of concern for her weight. Mocha starts to cuddle her and remark that she wouldn't mind if Sharo became fluffier, and in hopes of making her quit, Sharo eats a little more. Cocoa is greatly alarmed.

The girls decide to go for a walk, with Rize suggesting they run until Chiya reasons this wouldn't be a good idea. They spot some rowing boats up ahead and Cocoa suggests they hold a water race, and Mocha decides they should make it more interesting by dividing it up into three teams. They pull lots to determine who will get paired up with who, and Chiya suggests that the winning team gets to order the losing team into doing something they want. Sharo refuses and chastises Chiya for ruining the mood, but she's eventually roped into it and left feeling depressed having been partnered with an oblivious Cocoa. Meanwhile, Mocha and Chino make up the second team, while Rize and Chiya are the third.

As soon as the race starts Mocha flies across the water and to the opposite side of the lake. Chiya awkwardly cheers for Rize and they become distracted when Rize notices her weird behavior. Chiya sadly brings up that Cocoa was worrying over the idea that Mocha stole her friends, and she feels sad that Mocha isn't paying her much attention at all, so she feels rejected. Rize attempts to get her mind off of it by reminding her of the competition, and suddenly they gain a burst of speed. But they move around so fast that it makes them spin around and Chiya becomes dizzy.

In this time, Cocoa attempts to catch up to Mocha as she shows Chino how to row the boat, but in the process she accidentally sends Tippy flying into the water, forcing them to fetch him. Cocoa sadly calls herself a loser and feels defeat, to the point of wanting to run away. As the younger sister it only makes sense for her to lose to Mocha so much.

Just then, Sharo slaps Cocoa and chastises her for not acting like herself. Chino would be terribly sad if she ran away, words that make Cocoa snap out of it Sharo worries she overstepped her boundaries. She offers to drink the caffeine drink she knows she shouldn't to make it up to her, but Cocoa steals it away and drinks it for a burst of energy. With ease she rows over to Tippy and picks him up before surpassing Mocha and Chino. They are very surprised, but proud of her and Cocoa stops so that they can embrace, but this gives Rize and Chiya a chance to surpass them and grab the flower before anyone else can.

As they are aware that it was Chiya who seemed dedicated to win, Mocha asks about her favor and Chiya surprises everyone by revealing she wants to be cuddled. Mocha agrees, unknowingly causing more grief in Cocoa. She sadly announces that she will never be able to defeat Mocha in any shape or form. She cheers up momentarily when Mocha brings up that she has to go shopping, and she offers to let Cocoa pick up anything she would like for dinner. Cocoa realizes that this is the very reason she fails so much: because she is coddled by Mocha and lets herself be. Cocoa refuses her offer and runs away, with Chino trailing behind her out of concern while the others express confusion.

That evening, Mocha suggests they all take a bath together. Cocoa agrees, then quickly refutes to avoid being seen as spoiled. Chino remarks that this is unusual as they leave Cocoa to sadly sit alone. Her attempts to separate from Mocha grow further through the next day, and she refuses to let her meet Maya and Megumi when they come by to hang out with Chino.

As this is going on Rize can only curiously watch the display, and to try changing the subject she offers to give Mocha a tour of town. She decides to take her over to Ama Usa An noticing her mood. But she gets flustered as she slowly becomes aware of Mocha walking behind her to purposely enjoy her back view at her leisure. Rize runs up ahead and Mocha pleads with her to slow down to avoid getting lost.

Rize only does so once she sees Sharo and can take shelter behind the short blonde. Mocha attempts to reach out for her for more cuddles until she gets distracted by the uniform Chiya wears, then they chat over Sharo's uniform as they sit down for green tea. They listen to her troubles as she explains how much distance Cocoa has been putting between them, and when Sharo attempts to speak up she quickly reconsiders as she recalls the prior days events. Chiya brings Mocha an iced cocoa drink, but its coldness only serves to remind Mocha of her depression.

That evening, Mocha washes Chino's hair when they decide to share a bath again. She has come to the decision to leave the following day and thanks Chino for letting her have so much fun. She was very happy getting to know her new "little sisters". Chino goes on to ask if Cocoa has always been this way, and Mocha recalls that the "old Cocoa" seems to no longer exist. This thought makes her sad, and she worries that Cocoa may be going down the wrong path acting like this. Chino insists that she won't need to worry, because Cocoa has her.

The following morning, Mocha sadly packs her clothing when she finds pictures from the past. She heads downstairs when a creepy figure with a mask approaches and holds a gun up to her face, but it turns out the items are fake, and she discovers that they set up a surprise farewell party for her. Cocoa explains that while she was upset, she didn't want Mocha to be sad and decided to hold this party to try to cheer her up before she left. Mocha embraces her and cries, saying that Cocoa was the reason she felt so bad.

The girls introduce her to Maya and Megumi and she eagerly embraces them while Cocoa observes the girls to remark that they have become "spoiled little sisters". She refuses to let Mocha have them as her own though, and they start to bicker while Chino tries putting a stop to it. Maya remarks this to be common among family members- if its too troublesome they may need to resort to physical force.

Cocoa attempts to act maturely by revealing she invited Aoyama to join them, which surprises Mocha when she recalls having met her at the park. She is shocked to realize Aoyama wasn't playing a prank on her by claiming to be the author of the book and pulls out her rolling pin, asking Aoyama to sign it. Aoyama isn't able to fit her entire name but Mocha claims it's not a big deal as she puts it away again. The party gets started, with Mocha keeping an eye on Cocoa the entire time.

Later that day, Cocoa pulls out a flower hair pin and puts it on the side of her hair to match Mocha. Mocha reveals that she too has the same clip as Cocoa and puts it on the side of her head to match her as Chino approaches with some coffee. The sisters begin to bicker and share some laughs. Mocha requests Cocoa come back home soon to visit but Cocoa worries over Chino feeling lonely. trying to cover up her own loneliness that would come from not having her friends there. Mocha happily watches them and determines that Cocoa really is like a big sister now. This leads her to recall back when Cocoa informed her of her plans to attend this town's school. She wasn't sure if she would be okay but now she has her answer, and she is very happy.

At the train station, Mocha boards the train as the others wave her off until they can no longer see it. They return to Rabbit House to find a latte art Mocha did earlier, which shocks Cocoa after realizing she is better than her at it too. Cocoa yells out in frustration as Chino observes it and comments that she wishes Mocha could work there forever.
